Lemonbeat
Lemonbeat GmbH is the inventor of a universal framework, called Lemonbeat smart Device Language (LsDL), which provides the building blocks for the development of smart devices within the Internet of Things (IoT). With LsDL it is possible to place ‘intelligence’ directly onto the devices themselves. Through the networking of such intelligence devices, they can then interact directly with each other, without relying on cloud or gateway solutions. This helps to the reduce the complexity, as well as engineering and servicing costs normally associated with an IoT installation. At the same time it provides increased flexibility. The language can be used in combination with common cable or wireless IPv6-based communication protocols. Lemonbeat was founded in 2015 and is a 100% subsidiary of innogy SE, an established European energy company.
